Facilities

The school follows the courses of study prescribed by N.C.E.R.T / C.B.S.E. More emphasis is given on indoor and outdoor group activities, creative activities viz art, craft, painting, clay modeling and activities related to music, folk dances and community singing.

The school has a library cum reading room. Arrangements are beig made to buy books according to the needs of the students and teachers. To develop the reading habits, magazines, periodicals and news papers are made available in the reading room.

R.M. public school has good laboratories to provide the complete practical knowledge to the students. At present Science Lab & Computer Labs are available for the students. The standard of the labs I maintained as per rules of C.B.S.E. New Delhi.

The school has spacious beautiful green lawns for playing. Special emphasis is given on games like, football, kho-kho, badminton & cricket etc.

Co-curricular activities give a release to pent-up energies of a child and thus pave the way for all round development of his personality. The school conducts various such activities like sports, games, debates, songs dances, dramas, drawing, paintings, celebration of National festivals, quizzes, exhibitions and fancy dress competition etc. Inter house competitions are held monthly/weekly in different cultural, academic and physical activities. School holds/participates in various school competitions.

House System has been adopted in the school with a view to develop the sprit of healthy competition amongst the students. The entire strength is divided into four houses. Krishna House, Ganga House, Yamuna House & Kaveri House. Each house is controlled and guided by a master and a House captain. A large No. of Activities are conducted through this system. This best house is declared as Champion House. At the end of academic session, the champion house is awarded by a trophy.

With a view to develop a sense of self-discipline and leadership, class perfects are appointed in each class. They are mostly responsible for class discipline and order, specially in indoor and outdoor activities.

The School has a provision for first-aid for the children.

Computers have already become the sinequanon for the ultra modern life. In R.M. Public School, computer education is provided from I standard onwards with the aim of providing basic information about it, its parts, functions, operations, utility, general awareness and literacy etc.
